Is PostKeeper affiliated with X or Twitter? +

No. PostKeeper is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X Corp. or Twitter.

What does PostKeeper do? +

PostKeeper helps users export, back up, and organize X.com data that is accessible from their own browser session.

What data can I export? +

Depending on your account permissions and X.com availability, PostKeeper may help export posts, likes, bookmarks, followers, and following lists.

Does PostKeeper ask for my X.com password? +

No. PostKeeper does not ask you to provide your X.com password.

Does PostKeeper store my X.com cookies or tokens? +

PostKeeper does not ask for your X.com password. The extension may operate within your existing browser session on X.com and may use necessary session state to access pages and data visible to you. This is disclosed in our Privacy Policy.

Does PostKeeper upload my exported data? +

PostKeeper is local-first. Exported data is processed in your browser whenever possible and saved to your own device. Any cloud-based feature, if introduced, will be clearly disclosed before use.

What formats are supported? +

PostKeeper supports CSV, JSON, JSONL, Markdown, HTML, DOC, PDF, and ZIP exports depending on the export type.

What happens if X.com changes its website? +

Because PostKeeper works with X.com pages, some features may be affected when X.com changes its interface, availability, or access rules. We work to keep PostKeeper updated, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted compatibility.

Is every current feature free? +

Yes. Every current local archive feature is available at no charge during the public beta.

Do I need a license key? +

No. A license key and payment are not required for the public beta.

Will my X.com archive be uploaded? +

No. Your archive data is processed locally in your browser and saved to your device.
